At the onset of the digital filmmaking revolution in the late 1990s, FilmWest founder, Damon Ristau, was lured by the boundless creativity and freedom offered in the new world of digital production.  He's been passionately behind the camera for more than 20 years, working to capture light and create images that spark feeling, speak to the imagination and tell a fine story.

We like to stay light on our feet and not get pigeon-holed into a particular genre of filmmaking or exhibition platform.Therefore, be it fiction, nonfiction, commercial, animation, virtual, theatrical, broadcast, webcast, public, private or installation, we like keeping things fresh with innovative ideas and outlets.
